A great day with the elephants in the jungle.

I’m in heaven! Under my mosquito net, I lie in this bamboo bungalow on the shores of a remote and calm lake. I won’t be riding my GS today, but still — only a bike such as the GS can take me to this kind of place.

We are at the Elephant Hospital Camp, run by a group of young French girls who use adventure tourism income to help cure elephants and help mahouts improve their working condition. This place is a smart initiative by a French NGO and it runs really well …
